Sign Me Up Tours, LLC offers van supported bicycle tours for small groups in the United States. Our tours allow you to enjoy riding the bicycle you prefer, and we will take care of the travel logistics and route planning. We offer camping and hotel tours. All you have to do is get your friends together, and let us assist with the planning, and then we will take care of the daily transportation needs.
We can design bicycle tours for the riders who enjoy a casual pace with time to explore the towns and sights along the way. The daily mileage will vary based on camping or hotel availability and the terrain. The goal of 50 – 70 miles per day gives you time to enjoy the towns and scenery, stop for pictures, or enjoy the extra time in camp. The support van will eliminate any fear of those challenging days.
Bill and Dana Brown, owners of Sign Me Up Tours, LLC, are avid American bicyclcists who have toured in the US and Europe. They have completed many self-contained bike tours and participated in supported cycling tours. Having planned and provided support to other cyclists on many tours, they have experience and know what will make a tour fun.
In 2014, Sign Me Up Tours supported a 5390 mile Coast to Coast bicycle tour that included the Lewis & Clark, part of the Katy Trail, and part of the Natchez Trace. Click here to view the Journal from Crazy Guy On a Bike.
On a Sign Me Up Tour:
- You don’t have to carry your gear.
- You don’t have to plan the route and make overnight arrangements.
- You WON’T be alone if your equipment should break.
- You WILL have a great vacation!
Our bike tours are designed for both experienced and first time riders. We ride fewer miles per day than most tours, so our rides can be an ideal choice for your first multi-day tour. Maybe you have ridden tours with long days and you want to change the pace, then you will also enjoy riding with us.
This is your tour ….
When you ride with Sign Me Up Tours, you will become a member of the team. You will load and unload your own luggage, and set up your tent.
You will be provided daily with a cue sheet and route map or GPS file if you prefer. You will have the freedom to ride at your own pace. The group will usually split into sub-groups during the day to allow for different interests and riding speeds.
